The Bujinkan is the organisation which represents the nine schools of traditional Japanese martial arts of which Masaaki Hatsumi-sensei is the current Soke (Grandmaster). The Bujinkan incorporates the teachings of the following nine martial arts lineages (ryu).

Kuki Shinden Happo Bikenjutsu

Shinden Fudo-ryu Dakentaijutsu

Takagi Yoshin-ryu Jutaijutsu

Koto-ryu Koppojutsu

Gikan-ryu Koppojutsu

Togakure-ryu Ninpo

Gyokushin-ryu Ninpo

Kumogakure-ryu Ninpo

Characteristic of these teachings is the use of timing, distance, balance and the use of a whole body movement to control an opponent within a fluid environment.

The Yatagarasu Dojo is affiliated with Bujinkan Brisbane of the Brisbane Budo Dokokai, and specifically caters for the teaching of primary school and early  high school aged students.
